It’s an awesome feeling when you meet clients who really click with you & have similar interests. Samantha & Kingston were no exception. Lovers of board games, some of my favorite movies & traveling – these two were a blast to hang out with while photographing their engagement session. I love it even more when clients have unique photography session requests that really show their personalities. After our initial meeting I knew this wasn’t going to be your “typical” engagement session. This would be by far the longest engagement session I’ve ever been a part of, but definitely the most event-filled & fun-packed one we’ve been a part of. To top it all off, for their proposal Kingston masterminded Sam her own 8-bit video game filled with their friends & family as characters!
One of the best moments of the whole day was when Kingston opened the door to their beautiful San Francisco home in his newly acquired onesie for the engagement shoot. We knew from the moment he greeted us that this session would be a memorable one.
With a ton of ideas in mind, locations to visit & props to use I couldn’t believe how organized they were in making their ideas come to life. Sam & Kingston were such troopers staying strong throughout the entire session even as we went from location to location. Bouncing on beds, getting train steam blasted at them, to racing the zoo security guards (as slowly as possible) back to the entrance to take advantage of every minute we had left & then braving the windiest San Francisco sunset all made for a really great session & some gorgeous photos to end the day.
I’m so glad Jackson & I got to meet these two before they head off to Hawaii for their wedding! Congratulations to them both & I’m so excited for them to finally tie the knot!
