There are some people you meet in college who don’t just stay in the category of “acquaintance”. For me, this is one of those amazing people. Ashley has become a great friend, sister in Christ & active mentor to many of the girls in her EPIC movement fellowship group at Cal Poly SLO.
I met her through Jackson [my boyfriend] almost 3 years ago during an EPIC large group meeting. She’s juggled so many different things during her time in college but through it all she’s kept a huge bubbly smile (which is somewhat ironic, since one of her her favorite musical artists is Colbie Caillat 😉 ) & giggles are super infectious. We’ve gone shopping & foodie hunting all over California.
One of the coolest things about Cal Poly SLO is that they hold winter graduation ceremonies for senior graduates finishing their studies in December. Even though it was a bit chilly & the flowers we were hoping would be around weren’t out, we were still able to grab some sweet shots during her senior portrait session.
I seriously wish her all the luck in the world now that she’s graduated. I hope that she scores her dream job with Pinkberry so she can petition to bring back my favorite flavor, grapefruit! But really though, I hope she can score her dream job 😉
